This is a biweekly in-person game.
Take a look at your wiki. There is some more helpful info there.
For the present, I’m going to continue to tack on diary entries of our adventures in the “Bio” section of my characters. Last night’s stuff is now up under Butch.
Ok, I have added butch’s character stuff and added onto Aubouf’s bio to include a diary entry recording all of the stuff that has gone on with the party (from his perspective, of course)... I don’t know if anyone still checks here but I thought we ought to have some record of the events so far so that we can focus on making better official notes of the party’s actions going forward.
“A dwarf can also intuit depth, sensing his approximate depth underground as naturally as a human can sense which way is up.” So you would have known how far underground you were.
Also, does my racial ability to intuit depth that might have been handy in our recent situation had I been more familiar with dwarven quirks tend to mean simply that I can guess about how far down from the surface I am or does it extend to things such as guessing the depth of that seemingly bottomless well?
Duly noted for the next zombie encounter I feel helpless in with my current armory.
Zombies have legs, and low DEX, so I would assume they would trip easily.
Whip-dagger – 25gp, 1d6, 19-20/x2, 3lb, slashing… and 15ft reach… btw, is trip effective against zombies?
And now for something completely different: I’ve just figured out an awesome name for the bludgeoning/slashing (yes at the same time) weapon that I created a while back to actually make sense (unlike the gyrspike from Sword and Fist which is actually asynchronously bludgeoning/slashing): Mucrofustis. All thanks go to http://www.archives.nd.edu/cgi-bin/lookdown.pl for the English to Latin translator I used to find just the right roots. The English sword/edge plus club/stick (or my original blade-bat) just doesn’t have the ring of mucrofustis. Anyway, I’d have to dig up the stats I came up with but essentially it is a cast weapon, about 3.5 ft long with eight blades evenly spaced at what would be the octaganal vertices. It’s diameter was about 5 inches, 1” for the core bat and 2” from each opposed blade. Pretty handy for dealing with all sorts of undead, but quite heavy given the fact that it is a baseball bat sized metal club with what boils down to about four short swords attached to it.
Just a note: I was checking the stats, and peter’s gear was already discounted for size. He still has a medium load.
I saw that you had added dodge, but I didn’t see my skills. I put them in this afternoon, did you double check them against my sheet? Btw, what’s up with the messed up timestamp on these posts?
I linked them. I also added your skills.
Of course I can’t create a topic in the forum tab… that would require the acquisition of a premium account… silly me. Anyway, does anyone know how some of my ‘crunch’ got linked to dandwiki.com seemingly magically? Is it silmply a sort of intra-site spider function or does say, Maarek, have the power to edit our characters since we are in his campaign???
I think Alex’s place is the only one besides my own (further for you guys generally) that I have any reasonable chance of getting in 3-4 hours of playing time at, so my vote is to stay there… but I’m probably the closest to Alex’s.
So, are we all okay with the same time and location? Do we just need better routes?
